The meeting on "Student Participation in the Internal Quality Assurance System" organized by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) Student Commission was held online on September 23, 2022.
532 participants attended the meeting, where representatives of the quality commission of higher education institutions, heads of the quality society, academic advisors and community member students were invited. YÖKAK Member and Student Commission President Mehmet Bora and Commission Academic Coordinator Dr. Instructor In the event where its member Gonca Uludağ made a presentation, information was given about YÖKAK and its fields of activity, the importance of student participation in the internal quality assurance system and the ways of participation. In addition, explanations were made about the expectations from the higher education institution, the institution's quality commission, the heads of quality societies, academic advisors and member students in establishing and strengthening the internal quality assurance system.
The meeting, which was held in two sessions, morning and afternoon, ended after the questions of the participants were answered.
