b) To carry out internal evaluation studies and to prepare and submit to the Senate an annual institutional evaluation report containing the results of institutional evaluation and quality improvement studies, to ensure that the annual institutional evaluation report is included on the website of the university,
c) To make necessary preparations in the external evaluation process, to provide all kinds of support to the Higher Education Quality Board and external evaluation institutions.
d) To create and carry out its annual internal evaluation report, work schedule and improvement plans for the following year on a regular basis until the beginning of the next calendar year,
e) Forms, rulers, tables, etc. in order to provide standards at the university level in their studies and reports. develop,

a) To determine, implement and maintain the processes required for the Quality Management System,

c) To carry out relations with external organizations in matters related to Quality Management System,
d) To ensure coordination among all the academic and administrative units of the University in relation to the duties of the Quality Coordinator,
e) Following the quality standards and ensuring the structuring of the Quality Management System,
f) coordinate the meetings with the Quality Agents of the academic units,
g) To prepare documents related to the field of duty, to correct, publish, record and distribute in documents
h) To prepare the quality internal audit plan and to make internal audits,
i) To ensure that quality representatives, internal auditors, process responsibilities and employees receive training on Quality Management Systems,
i) To prepare inputs for the management's oversight meeting, to make the meeting, to write the decisions taken and to distribute them to the units,

There are representatives of YÖK Representatives, UIC Representatives, related Ministries and other institutions in this board.
The duties of the Higher Education Quality Board are:
a) To define the national policy and strategy of quality assurance and accreditation in higher education and submit it to the approval of the General Assembly,
b) To support the establishment of internal quality assurance systems in higher education institutions and to guide higher education institutions in this respect,
c) To conduct training, meetings, workshops and similar activities for the development and dissemination of quality cultures,
d) To follow the studies related to the quality assurance systems of higher education at national and international levels, to carry out joint studies at national and international level,
e) To present the principles to be applied in external evaluation and accreditation to the approval of the General Assembly by determining quality indicators and rules,
f) Informing the higher education institutions about the external quality assessments approved by the General Assembly and the procedures to be applied in accreditation and publishing them,
g) Evaluating the external evaluation reports after the self-evaluation and external evaluation process that the higher education institutions have prepared and presenting the final report to the General Assembly so as to include the recommendations on quality improvements,
h) To request from the General Assembly to make external evaluations of higher education institutions that do not take the external evaluation, which should be done at most once every five years, even though the period has elapsed, to be collected from the relevant higher education institution,
i) Offering to the General Assembly at the end of each year the external quality assessments, problems encountered and quality improvement process carried out throughout the year for higher education institutions,
j) To give an opinion to the General Assembly by evaluating the registration applications of the private legal entities applying to the Higher Education Council for registration in the framework of determined principles and rules in order to operate in the external quality evaluation and accreditation fields, to follow the activities of these institutions and to obtain information when necessary, propose to the General Assembly for cancellation,
k) To represent the Board in the presence of international organizations on quality assurance in higher education,
l) To share the reports and opinions submitted to the General Assembly in accordance with subparagraphs (d), (f), (h), (i) and (j)
m) To fulfill other duties given by the Higher Education Council for the purpose and scope of this Regulation.
How does the Corporate Internal Evaluation process work?
(1) The university prepares an internal evaluation report integrated with the strategic plan and annual performance program and activity report, which will cover the education and research activities and the administrative services that support them.
(2) The quality coordinator completes the internal evaluation work by the end of February each year and sends it to the Quality Commission. The Quality Commission assesses the internal evaluation work of the Quality Coordinator and completes the Internal Evaluation Report in March. The University sends the Prepared Internal Assessment Report to the Higher Education Quality Board for information until the end of April.
What is the Corporate External Evaluation?
The external evaluation process carried out by external evaluators authorized by the Higher Education Quality Board or by external evaluation bodies with an independent quality assessment registration certificate recognized by the Higher Education Board, of the quality of the education or teaching and research activities and administrative services of a university or a program.
How does the Corporate External Evaluation process work?
(1) The University is obliged to evaluate at least every five years within the scope of a regular institutional external evaluation process to be conducted by the Higher Education Quality Board. The university's external evaluation calendar is prepared and announced by the Higher Education Quality Board.
(2) The external evaluation of the university is carried out by external evaluators authorized by the Higher Education Quality Board or by independent institutions and organizations that have been granted the Quality Assessment Certificate by the Higher Education Council.
(3) The external evaluation service for accreditation at the unit / program level is carried out by a national or international independent body with a Quality Assessment Certificate and is limited to the unit / program.
