Depending on the subject of 'the changing output-oriented agenda of higher education'; Giving technical information such as corporate performance management, quality assurance, certification, quality management standards, Prof. Dr. Ali SINAĞ said that the period of uniform university is left behind in Turkey. Emphasizing that the changing conditions and technical possibilities make the quality and performance system compulsory in universities, Prof. Dr. Ali SINAĞ, “There are 208 universities in our country. 4 of them are vocational high schools. Therefore, if we talk about 204 universities, each has a similar vision and strategy. When you look at it in Turkey, we should no longer adopt the concept of a uniform university. Especially when we consider the competitive situation, very new concepts emerge in higher education. We've always talked about getting into college. Universities have always evaluated students on the basis of their scores. When you look at the structure of 204 universities in Turkey, you see the same pattern. Universities on an international scale are now in great competition. Universities are the places where laboratory studies will turn into technological products and data are produced. In terms of research, the data produced in our laboratory must be transformed into a product. We have serious problems at the point of commercialization of the patents obtained. We have serious problems with licensing. Therefore, if you cannot commercialize a patent you have received, it may not contribute significantly to the university and the country.

The majority of academics in universities are uncomfortable with the word performance. Performance is for everyone. All 204 universities in Turkey continue to function in the same structure. The graduate student continues as a professor at the university he graduated from. He has all the characteristics of his teacher and cannot be aware of different cultures. He continues his education life, which he received in a certain pattern, as an academician in a certain pattern. It is important to be aware of different educational methods and cultures and to transform this into a management style. Universities are now thematic and structured in certain areas.
